SWF scaling isn't sharp

Hi

Why is it that SWF files created in Illustrator do not retain their sharp vector edges when scaled larger in Resolume? Is there any setting to fix this? I would like to create assets that are vector and use them in my composition. One of the major advantages of vector art is infinite scalability while still staying sharp.

Thanks

This can be indeed somewhat confusing, but when you use the scale, width and height controls in the clip properties, you're actually applying the transformations on a rastered version of your vector file. To render them at the current composition size, right click on the handle, and change the resolution in the settings.

I hope that makes sense ;)

Hi

I revisited this issue and I still can't figure out how to solve this. What "handle" do I need to click?

Thanks

where the clip / swf shows in the grid of clips in Avenue, right click over its name and choose "settings"

wow, thanks. too bad this is not MIDI controllable. that would be very useful for performances.
