Display Eroors /Black Lines on NV 335M (alienware)

Hi, i just bought an Alienware M11x for VJing.
When i run reolume, i get patterns of very small black lines on my Output window, the preview within in the UI looks totally scrambled. When i run MXW it is even worse, interface is black, until i fullscreen the output, then there are the same black lines just more of them.
tried different drivers, but they don't seem to change the effect
does anyone have the same problem, or even a workaround/solution?
i assume it is a driver problem nvidia has to fix,
but maybe also not : ) ??
best

Hi!
i have exactly the same problem with my m11x r2 ... ive been trying to solve it for 3 months now, testing every new driver release from nvidia and intel... ive tried all of this ones:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienwa ... on-r2.html
so far nothing fixes the issue.. ive also seen that resolume only recognizes the intel integrated HD video card, ive tried adding the resolume.exe to the 3d settings in the nvidia optimus driver but doesnt seem to make a difference. also tried tewaking all the optimus settings and nothing so far =(
ive been having to run resolume with the intel card which works "OK". but obviously now that ive re-encoded almost all my library as DXV i would really like for resolume to take advantage of the 1gig 335M.
hope we can find a cure soon!

if you using resolume 2 then best not to use DXV as I dont think it will play properly. Best to use something like indeoVideo 5.1 or another one which is recommended.
Could you confirm which version you are using? Thanks

Now there's someone who pays attention to what part of the forum things are posted in
Jokes and versions aside, this is most likely Optimus rearing its ugly head. We've had some reports of this before (
