New Q&A site for VJs

If you haven't heard of StackExchange and it's ever-increasing plethora of similar-styled Q&A websites, maybe have a look at these:

http://apple.stackexchange.com - for questions about Apple products
http://photo.stackexchange.com - photography
http://superuser.stackexchange.com - general computer questions
http://english.stackexchange.com - usage of the English language
http://cooking.stackexchange.com - all about cooking
etc. with new ones being created regularly.

Basically the idea is to create a platform for professionals seeking serious advice about serious questions (with allowance to create offtopic questions as well). I've been using about 7 other SE sites now for the past few months and it really does weed out the bad answers/questions quite quickly, as you are only able to vote on a question or answer when you have enough reputation points, basically to prove that you're not a bot or a complete idiot. Also, the more rep one achieves, the more one is allowed to do, such as edit questions (for clarity), edit the community wiki, close/lock horrible questions (which needs votes from several who have enough rep), etc.

Another nice thing about these sites is you don't need to create yet another account; just login via openID (gmail, yahoo, etc) to associate your account with a trusted provider and voila you can join in too!

I would love to create a forum just for VJs to ask/answer questions about everything they do, from working with different input devices to projecting on every possible surface imaginable and everything in-between, which is why I'm asking you people to come and help me define what YOU would find interesting.

What needs to be done? Simple. It's in the definition stage right now, which means it needs more questions and votes on those questions to define what its all about i.e. which questions are appropriate for this site. DONT ANSWER QUESTIONS YET: it makes no sense :) After Define Phase it will go into Commit Phase, which means people need to commit to using it (just a check-box). Then it goes into Private Beta for a short period, then Public Beta and finally if it survives all that, then it becomes part of the Stack Exchange network and thus a full-fledged Q&A site.

Please help? Even just clicking yes/no to vote helps :)

Here's the proposal link on Area51 (the staging area for new forum ideas):

p.s. of course it's not meant to be competition to these forums, or any other forums for VJs for that matter. I'm trying to help consolidate information, as currently you have to search through 50 different forums and sometimes a forums dies or goes offline and everything is lost.
