Ok have a tricky gig coming up, i have a projector setup in the club basement then a bar setup upstairs but it's pretty much physically impossible to run cabling upstairs, is there anyway to stream a video signal output using a wifi router?
thanks...

nope, not that I know. even streaming your VJ output over LAN is quite tricky and expensive ("repeater" is the term).
can you describe the setup a bit more? are both showing the exact same content? you can always setup a second machine on the bar floor and trigger it via OSC.

my setup is i7 macbook pro running resolume 3, outputing vga straight into a projector im down stairs in front of house but there is an upstairs bar where they would also like another projector rigged and hung, i may just make up a generic logo loop but this can get a bit boring so was going to try and get signal up to the projector
thought perhaps i could use something like the link below?

From what I quickly found on the net this piece might work. BUT think of the architecture of the club compared to the walls in a regular appartement. I'm not sure how much of a signal you are left with when the walls get thicker and the distance increases.
I would setup a second machine and trigger it simultaniously to the Avenue set via OSC (showing basic clips, nothing too fancy for the bar, something like that). You could use
CoGe if you don't have a second Avenue license.

the problem with WIFI-Connections is the 2,4ghz standard....
it may works good at home or in a emtpy club, but when all systems in the club are running and hundreds of people running around with activted bluetooth and wifi handys you will have more problems.
There are also 5ghz variants... just googled this one

if wifi, i think a 5ghz solution is much better.. expect for your health
the best solution anyways is getting the cable through anyhow :p

yeah thought as much cabling is going to more or less impossible though unfortunately, i dont think it's worth the hastle, as boring as it is think upstairs will have to have somesort of logo loop on a dvd cable tied to the projector.
