Simple scenario I think, but my clips won't trigger.

I've mapped them to controllers; it shows the controller assigned, e.g,, 5/36, 5/37 etc in map display. Obviously I'm getting MIDI to the application.

All I want to do is trigger the video-only clip to play when it receives the controller code.

I have 8 clips set in the same layer -- don't need any effects or layering. Clips will just stop and another will start in the same layer as I understand it.

As simple as I could make it.

Not using BPM synchronization. Tried piano mode and also "normal." Neither start.

It appears my MIDI triggers are being ignored. I see them on a MIDI preview log so I know they arrive in Resolume.

It could that you have Beat Snap turned on in the composition menu, and also Midi Clock enabled in the Midi Preferences. That way, your clips will wait for a new beat to start, but the beat is not running because it's waiting for Midi Clock.

Turning either one off should work. Hope that helps.
