4:3 export for 12x9 screen

Hi there,
I'm in need of some some help please!
Basically I am making some visuals for a 12x9 screen and the visuals have to fit exactly onto the screen as there is a certain degree of mapping going on. I am editing the visuals in Adobe Premiere. I am editing using the project settings DV PAL 48kh 720x576 (D1/DV pal 1.0940).
I Realise that this project option is not exactly 4;3 but my only chance to change the frame size is during the export so I'm wondering is it better to export as
720x576 (D1/DV pal 1.0940)
or
768x576 (square pixels 1.0)
768 is a 4;3 ratio but when i render out as this i get left with a small black border at the top and bottom of my video
I am a bit confused as to which will fit exactly to a 12x9 screen
I will be playing the visuals Directly from my laptop with resolume avenue via Vga cable
Any advice is welcome thanks!
