Better tile vfx

Hey together,
it's possible that I haven't found the funktion yet...
Is there or could there be a tile funktion where I can say "X=3 Y=3" and after entering these values my clip look like this:
[][][]
[][][]
[][][]
it should fit perfect to the clip dimensions. Would be great.
But like I'm saying... maybe its allready there and I'm blind!
