Hi,

I trie to get touch osc working in windows running windows 7 64 bit and a I-Pad.
I can not get it to work. Is there any how to guide around?

What I do not get for instance is if I need any additional software such as pd and midiyoke or not?

Thanx.

Vincent

if you mean controlling Resolume with the iPad via TouchOSC then have a look at this site:
http://www.martin-thoburn.com/vj/touch- ... esolume-3/

And no, you shouldn't need anything else but to have the computer and the iPad connected to the same network, of course. Maybe you can define your setup in more detail:

lan or wlan?
dhcp or fixed ip?
any firewall?
do the ports of Resolume and TouchOSC match?
are you using a custom Template?

Hi,

ok, clear.
I use windows 7 64 bit
Tried adhoc network, wifi and over the wireless lan i have here.
All firewall is turned off
I tried different ports but they are always the same
i use a custom layout for ipad. (the one julian van buul adjusted)
I use touchosc 1.7 just read about a bug, with custom osc messages?

Thanx. Trie to get 1.6.3 version.

Victor, what is the bug you read about in version 1.7? I'm wondering if this is problem. I have gotten many posts about things not working shortly after 1.7 was released.

Ok, I just found the site. I guess version 1.7 has a bug with custom OSC commands. Stick with 1.6 or wait for an update.
