He guys,
i'm really new to resolume and all the vj stuff.
My problem is that I can't work with avi and mpeg files, is there a codec that i can use?
i'm working with osx 10.
i hope somebody can help me and i'm really sorry to post a newbie question like that but without that codec i'm not able to use all my clips.
Thanks!

Re: Codec
hi noskael,
i'm a fairly big n00b at this stuff as well, so i'm glad to be able to give you a nudge in the right direction. the manual has some helpful information in this case. check the section titled "Preparing Media" toward the end, it lists the Resolume proprietary DXV codec as well as the next highest recommended for either Windows or Mac OS users. (Hint: For OSX users, DXV or Photo JPEG Quicktime files are the way to go.) But I do urge you to read the manual some, it's dead useful
.
cheers!
