layer masking question

I've been in the process of doing my first mapping show and my layer masks are working great. However if I scaled a clip in that layer the mask scales with it. Is there anyway to anchor that mask to the output and not the clip if that makes any sense.

In Resolume 3, masks applied at the layer or clip level are locked to that layer or clip, so when you move or scale it, the masks move and scale along with it.

If you apply a mask to composition level, it stays anchored to the output.

You can read more on this here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7094&p=27716&hilit=mask#p26825

I hope that answers your question.

yeah it does answer it unfortunately lol. Can I put in a request to possibly add an option to choose whether its anchored to the clip or the output. The reason is because if im mapping a projector to 5 different panels say for example, then I have a layer masked to the 2 outer panels. A layer masked to the 2middle panels, and one for all 5-- thats three masks but only one can go in the comp mask. And rerendering my library to fit all occasions would be a pretty rough task. It'd be cool if I could scale up the narrow clips without affecting my mask. I understand if its not possible then its not possible. Just an issue I had at a couple shows in the last year
