Hi,
Sorry for a dumb question, but I really am confused now. I installed resolume 1.51 on a windows 98se machine. I also have the latest flash player plugin installed. The problem is that on my second windows xp machine everything from triggerMotion runs fine.
But on the win98 some of the flash loops don't seem to run (only a couple frames are displayed). What's even more strange, they run smooth under Internet Explorer.
Thank's in advance for any help in solving this problem.
Kind regards.

should be ok under Win98,
try to upgrade your Flash player under Win98.
We used Win98 before with resolume 1.51 and triggerMotion = it was OK.

hi Bill,
if a cuple of frames are displayed and since it plays well in your browser it couldnt be your flash player.
i think its directX or something.. dl the latest directX from windows.com...
i think that will help.
its either this or a standalone player problem(which would be weird because resolume doesnt use the standalone player...)

Hi,
Thank's for your answers. I have directx 9.0b installed and use a radeon 7000 series graphics adapter. Macromedia says to me : Version 7,0,14,0 installed successfully (when installing flash player).
I'll try to tweak my graphics card and see what happens.
BTW, did anyone use the ffplugins-16-03-2004? I noticed that when I copy lumaedges.dll into my plugins dir, suddenly all plugins disappear. This is the only file that causes this error. Strange.

Hi,
It gets weirder every minute. On my second PC with win XP I suddenly have the same problem. I think it started happening after I installed resolume 2 along with 1.51. In 1.51 the flash file plays normal when being held on the 8th frame (Dings_HippiStamps.swf). I now know that resolume has a problem with the "loading" scene that is inside this loop.
And speaking frankly - I don't know what to do.
Thank's for your help.
Kind regards.

try setting the timelinmode of resolume to flash so that flash takes care of playing the flash-clips and not resolume.
right-click the channel with your flash movie and set timelinemode to flash.
when you do this all actionscripting is enabled.

Hi,
You're right, edwin. I noticed that in resolume 2.0 the .swf's work fine, when set to flash timeline. Too bad, that they won't work in 1.51.
Which means waiting for the stable release of Resolume 2.0.
Thank's for your response.
Kind regards.
