I think it's not necessary all chanels read audio. Why don't you make than when you play a video in the first chanel/slot the audio outputs???

hi,
we dicussed the audio playback a few times before.
right now we are not going to implment this in resolume.
we found out however that if you embed audio in a flash file it will be played. Vj drifter (from the netherlands) uses this bug/feature in his live shows.
