a Midi/TouchOSC question!

First of all, i'm quite new to Avenue, TouchOSC and all the fun things like that, and sorry in advance if I've posted this in the wrong place! 
Just see'ing if someone could help me out with an issue that I can't seem to get my head around.
I was wondering if there is a way to switch between the automation parameter modes (basic, timeline, bpm sync etc if you don't know what i mean) via an assigned Midi control (or just not using the mouse). Even if there has to be a max patch or Quartz running behind to be able to do it?
