Hello,
I just started with resolume demo to see if it will do what I am trying to do. I play in a band and would like to have cool video clips playing on a screen during our live gigs.

Is it best to make quicktime or .avi vids? Is there a length limit to the clip? I tried one .avi that looks good but it only plays for 26sec even thought the clip is 40sec. I tried one clip that was 3min but the screen only showed green.

I am using sony vegas 11 to make vids and testing resolume on an i7 with caviar black hard drive, 8gb ram, nvidia gtx 260 graphics.

you should probably take a look at the manual....

Nevermind. I figured it out right after I asked the question. It appears that for me with Sony Vegas, I can only use the DVX codec when rendering to quicktime. Seems to work flawlessly now.
