Demo footage on windows looks ghetto

All the demo video files that are included in the Windows installer are bad old Cinepak! Auuww that hurts. But it's the only codec that still works in all versions of windows. XP, Vista & 7. It's the only codec that guarantees the demo footage will always work on windows. We of course want to use our own DXV Quicktime codec but not everybody that tries Resolume has Quicktime installed ... we need to find a solution for this.

quicktime installer bundled into the windows installer maybe?

May be you can use Intel Indeo 5.1, i have installed on my windows 7 and works ok!

It's very easy to convert the clips yourself. Try Livid Batch Export Utility. (

just had coding off of the original footage for best quality in mind. I use my own stuff anyway
