columns can be triggered but not activated.
No matter which column I choose, the column options (New, Insert, Duplicate and Remove) are only applied on column 1.

Aah yes you are right the Column application menu is not updated after clicking a column. We usually right click the column to open the column menu so we did not notice this. You can do this as a workaround for now. Thanks for spotting 7 reporting this!
