DXV 2.2

Hi there,

First of all, congratz with R4!!
During the short period of time I have looked into Arena 4 I did not came across bugs. However, I noticed that with the installation of Arena the DXV codec was updated to 2.2.
Now, if I want to render any footage from After Effects with the DXV codec, 9 out of 10 times After Effects crashes after the first frame of rendering! Other codec's work fine. Since After Effects freezes and force quits completely I do not get any messages. Because of this I don't know how I can find out what the problem is.

How can I go back to the previous version of DXV? And how can I give you more information about this problem? Assuming that it is the new codec because other codecs are working just fine?

Regards

You can download DXV 2.1 form the download page:
http://resolume.com/download/

Please let us know if these crashes also happen with 2.1!

I've installed 2.1.1, the crash did not happen.

With 2.2 installed, what happend was: I clicked on Render, and after the first frame (so it seems) it gives a popup warning. When a effect is used (like Fractal Noise), it said that there is an error with the plugin. When another effects is used instead, it also crashes and say that there is an error with that effect. When no effect is used, just moving objects around, then it tried to save the project and crashes.

I hope this helps.

I also made a bunch of clips in AE cs4 with DXV 2.2.
Didn't detect any problems.

Anyone had any issues with DXV 2.2 in playback?
I got freaked out yesterday after installing arena and then going back to play at a gig with Avenue 3, I felt that some of my clips even when playing in isolation were stuttery, I changed the DXV codec back to the earlier version and it felt more responsive again, it could just be me imagining things, dunno ?
