Reason I am asking is that my next big gig is on the 23rd of this month and I have been waiting for the group copy function that this new release has for ages.. I dont wish to make up a new set in Ave 3 if I am going to have to go through it all again when the official release comes knocking . . So any of you guys been using this for performance ? how stable is it?

why not just use ave 3 and then import the comp into ave 4 when its stable and ready for release?
