*disclaimer*
ive only been using IDE / FFGL SDK / Compiling for a matter of days and am completely new to it - so its probable that these could be more streamlined and made smaller. also as my first FFGL project, i went for some realy simple plugins which are actualy more like utility plugins than effects as such - my aim with this project was just to get them working.
requirements for use: Avenue 4, Windows only at the mo ( OSX version coming ! )
on to bussiness....
V4 Control Panel:
a panel with dedicated controls for the Edirol V4 video mixer to allow midi control from within Avenue, allowing the use of Avenues interal modulation as well as IR OSC for mixing, output fade ( how many V4's have you sen with this knob broken? ), input selection and effects control on the V4. you can even control all 4 effects on each side at once if you want.
This version needs you to assign the midi, but i do aim to do a version with the default V4 midi settings built in. the attached image shows the default settings in the V4 - so if you enter these, it should work ( make sure your V4 is on midi channel 16 and turn note mode on - both found in the V4 midi menu )
4 and 8 Controls:
does what it says on the tin one of them has 4 faders, the other has..... yes...... 8 faders! basicly just more controls like the V4 panel, but generic ones so that you can assign as you need.
i found that with Avenue, MIDI data recieved by Avenue is not forwarded to MIDI outputs unless its controlling a parameter in Avenue.... but you might not want to be varying one of Avenues parameters to be able to send midi to your output. my own setup includes a Zero SL MK 2 , and when in automap mode ( led feedback ect ) it doesnt send data to the MIDI outputs... using any of these plugins gets round that.
they arent world changing plugins, but if you have a need for them, they are quite handy. hopefully they can be of use to someone
