I've noticed this a few times when executing a transition TO a Flash clip, that the first clip does not disappear until the transition to the Flash clip has completed, rather than at the halfway point.

This does not happen in reverse i.e. when transitioning from a Flash clip to a non-Flash one.

I've recorded a video to demonstrate this, transitioning between a range of MOV clips (non text) and 2 different Flash Text Clips on the same layer.

I am using the Rotate X for this, but it also happens with other transitions e.g. Alpha etc.

This is actually a known issue for transitions to all content with an alpha channel. Disabling the alpha channel for the SWFs (or PNGs or QC files or DXV movies) solves it, but a more useful solution is proving surprisingly troublesome.

How is the alpha channel disabled? Can this be done within Resolume?

you can disable the Alpha channel. a little example below in the clip properties.

i just ran into this bug wanting to mix alpha DXV clips on the top layer, and background footage on the bottom layer.

i needed the alphas for the project so a temp workaround is to disable the global effects and blends.... then it worked, but it isn't ideal.... still, love the single layer transition option... worth the 4.0 price of admission...

I'm still getting this with 4.1.3 - has there been any progress on a lasting solution? Disabling the alpha channel seems to work OK for now.

We're actually rewriting the transitions this week. No guarantees on when that will be introduced though.
