I want to upgrade win7 to win8
Anybody use RES on Windows 8?

Microsoft will release Windows 8 at the end of 2012!
So, why do you want to use R4 with a beta of Windows8?

hey i tested R3 with OSX Lion when it was in Beta, and I found some issues that the Resolume team was able to fix. If i hadn't done so before they had the chance to do it, then the fix would have been delayed..

It always takes one person to delve into the unknown for the good of the rest. So long as that person who installs R4 under W8 is not a whiny little_____ and understands what there doing, is navigating uncharted waters.

I say go for it, and report back what you find.

before this I would like to know if anyone can give advice

win8 is interesting because it should also rum on arm-cpu's
so the new quad-core tablets may also run fine with win8 and resolume

Let us know how it runs on Windows 8, we haven't got a version of 8 yet so please share your experiences with it.

I'm running it on win 8 but am having some problems.

I don't know if its win 8 or the new amd catalyst driver but i get a really strong flickering an blinking on the resolume output when applying effects. Completely distroyed a gig friday night since the problem wasn't there when i last tested...
