so, nothing on this? anyone from Resolume test this? know anything about this?
why would something work in R3, but not R4?
the videoglide/easycap is the cheap and easy video capture option that works on almost all VJ software, except resolume now.....

videoglide is only for Mac
I also should add that i can use the same EasyCap on my PC running Resolume 4 Arena and it is recognized, it just the video glide driver that is the issue.

This was part of the StickItToStickyGreen enhancements that were included with Res4. Among others all VideoGlide capture drivers were specifically disabled, and any files with the name Sticky or Green in them will be deleted.
Jokes aside, we pretty much use Quicktime as a capture driver, and we don't have any code to specifically work with the VideoGlide drivers. We'll try to get our hands on a device that uses this driver and see what's up.
Any specific reason you use this driver instead of the default ones?

HAHAHAHA! you're so funny...
videoglide is the only driver to make alot of USB capture devices work on Mac, perhaps you have not heard about it? It's very popular, as a google search will reveal just how extensive this little device is at capturing SD video via USB

this is the actual site for the device, where they sell the driver separately, it's the actual driver for the device, when using it with Mac as far as i can tell.
If you want an EasyCap, I have an extra I can send you, just tell me where to send it. But you'll need to get your own videoglide license.....

We'd appreciate it if you could send an EasyCap. We cannot seem to find any of the devices mentioned on the VideoGlide page for sale in Europe (which kind of makes me wonder how much demand there is for support for this.....)
You can find the address on the company page (on the top right of this page).
