Crash on advanced output settings

Hello, first thread. Working on windows 7 ultimate. 64 bits. 8 gigs on ram.
I had been working Arena a month or so with no problems. Recently it began to crash with no exception whenever I try to modify the output input selecction. It takes as little as dragging a corner of the slice to make the program crash. Sometimes I can set some properties with the number dials, but at the third modification it crashes. No negotiation. It just freezes.
I don't think it has to do with my files or codecs, since I have tried in blank compositions with the same results.
I tried formating the machine, it works until I install the most recent version of adobe master suite cs6.
What am I doing wrong?
