audio mapping

how does this work? i tried using avi file with music on but im not geting any audio playback! what do i need to do to play the audio so i can sort out the video to it?!

Hi j3man,
u could import the avi an a video-editor and export only the audio. play the audio from your harddrive. when this doesnt work burn the audio to cd and play the cd in your drive.

ahh right. so whats with the audio options then with the little bars and that?!.. take it this is a option that wasnt implemented properly? cant really complain the rest of the program is wikkid

its an audio responsive engine, which lets the audio level (of a certain band) control a certain setting in resolume. like the playhead of the timeline of a clip. or a setting from a freeframe plugin.
so plug in the audiomixer in your mic input of the vj-comp and be amazed,because the audio section is wicked to

i have a vestax mixer (with about 4 channels), used for mixing with some 1210's... i take it this can be hooked upto my computer and used to control the video on resolume? and this is what the audio bit is for?
