				Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone has used the Blackmagic H.264 Pro Recorder as an input on Resolume. I have a 2009 macbook and this seems like a good solution to get a HD camera input source.
Thanks,
Gidon

I really can't stress this enough: that is *not* a live input device. It's a recorder, which means that it records its input and converts it to H264 movie files. It's great for putting your old VHS tapes on YouTube, but it's no good for getting a live stream into Resolume.
From our FAQ:
Please note that the BlackMagic H264 Recording Dongle is *not* a capture card, and will not work with Resolume.

Sorry about the repost, I thought there might be a difference between the
dongle recorder (
http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/videorecorder/)and the
pro recorder (
http://www.blackmagicdesign.com/product ... orecorder/)
Thanks anyway for the answer

No worries, Shoken. I'd rather answer this question 5000 times, than that one person spends money on something they can't use. I wasn't actually aware you were talking about the HD/SDI version, but the same goes for both devices.
Cosmowe, be nice
