How to get a videostream into Resolume? Ideas?

Hello guys,
for a Live-Video-Concert I need to redirect a videostream (they use Lifesize-Softphone for broadcasting) into Resolume Arena to use the mapping and live-video editing features. I have some clues about how it could work but found no real usable solutions yet. I'm working with a PC not a Mac, so Syphon is no option :(

Approch 1: Use a software that converts the LifeSize Stream input into a virtual webcam output and then use it in Resolume. But I found no program that is capable of doing that.

Approach 2: Find a software that replaces LifeSize as a stream client and is capable of redirect the signal into Resolume (probably again as a virtual webcam).

Approach 3: Use a Computer for streaming that gives the signal into a blackmagic SDI Capture device and use this with Resolume. I have no clue if that would work.

Do you have any ideas or experience with it?
Thx,
bbb

Approach 3 is the most likely option to use. There are a lot of users using that approach to solve video stream inputs into resolume. There is no reason why it shouldn't work if you have purchased the right equipment (blackmagic intensity capture card) according to your computer specs.

Thx for your reply. In this project we switched to Modul8 and Syphon what worked very well. Anyway we used a blackmagic receiver thing to get the HD video stream. So next time I will check if I can get it directly into resolume then, what would be great.
