which webcam is best for a live feed?

Hi 
im doing a set that includes a live stream from a webcam on the other side of the room,
i tried a few from uni but none of them were read by the capture devices.
I was wondering if anyone knows any good wireless webcams that will be read by resolume.
im working on mac,
any suggestions?
