Syncing Audio From Traktor to Video playing in Resolume

I am wondering what the best way to go about syncing and and video together in Resolume.

Let me explain...

I do a live audio / video performance - usually I play music live with Traktor and visuals are done in real time with the music - none of the video is specifically related to the music so we trigger the video ourselves, mixing back and forth between clips as we see fit.

However, I have a need at an upcoming show to trigger an audio and video clip at exactly the same time and make sure they stay in time and I'm wondering what the best way to go about this would be.

I would prefer the audio play from Traktor and the video play separately in Resolume.

The only Alternative I can think of would be to play both the audio and video file from Resolume and momentarily switch audio to Resolume from Traktor although that is not ideal.

Any thoughts?

Can you not use midi or is there no midi out from traktor? I can never remember?

Why would this not be ideal? Do you need more DJ functionailty?

Resolume already can do this, your request should be directed to Traktor.

If Traktor would send out 14 bit midi from the playhead, you could sync this with the playhead in Resolume. 14 bit midi is enough resolution to sync tracks of up to 6 minutes.
