i discovered that after installing DisplayLink software and drivers for the EVGA UV+ 39 USB video display adapter Resolume Arena 4 wont start, i tried everything changing the card 3d settings on Catalyst manager,
but if i uninstall DisplayLink software Resolume will work fine, it doesn’t matter if the device is connected, I’m sure is the display driver software but this only happens to me an ATI card laptops, so i think it may be something with the Video driver when this software is installed
I been looking around and found this bug was common, but on the post of realease of Arena 4.1.1 it says [FIXED] USB DisplayLink devices don't work (cause crash on startup)
So I don’t know whats the problem
I have an Alienware M15x – Windows 7 64 bit – ATI mobility Radeon HD 5850 – Intel core I7
But I tested this on another alienware m14x with Nvidia card and Resolume works just fine
I add the log file one is from resolume crashing at start with displaylink and the other is resolume working fine without displaylink
i also experienced some problems after the 12.8 driver update from ATI maybe that??
I really need to solve this, i just got 3 new UV+ 39 just to use with Arena .... any advice???
