hi everyone
here it goes, i've never bought a laptop, been clinging to tower power for as long as i could, but... well.. things change... luckily
im aiming at a lasting laptop (2+ years would be great) capable of runing 5\6 layers of 1920 at the stable framerates i do now (40\60fps) on a 1k ...

@edwin neither cpu, ram or diskspace max out
@willcops strange that you cant get a good recording on fraps, i got (not awesome fps but) decent results with fraps on a bit lower specs than you're on... 1280+audio (about 4\5 layers + fx)

its not surprising, to think that way if you see every other video on the web, be it a rip or a yt video, with 2h of film and only weighting a 700mb, but as vjair says its about quality...

that would be nice aswell, but if instead that function existed for the cue markers , adding a snap button would only improve performance, the markers would fall into place anyway, without trying to remember min:sec:frame for this or that clip and punch it live...

i just remembered a good one to go with the cue-markers:
a snap button that would allow you to move the in\out markers exactly on top of the cue markers
ex: press snap, move faders, release all and let it play
(of course it would be sensible to add: if out-marker on top of cue>then>the out-marker ...

maybe i can shed some light on the filesize...
i discovered that when using AE if you have a 1080p project, and if you resize it to 720p on the render queue settings it will have a much larger file size than if you scale the project down and leave render queue setting alone... im aware that you're ...
