Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Very straightforward and informative.

This affirmed one of my greatest fears that having built such a 'mega' machine that really it might not really be needed to run 64bit and then anything other than Win XP Pro.

I just purchased my VJ setup. I have been using Resolume 2 since 2005 and am finally ready to get Resolume 3, I hope the machine I've built can do well with HD. Here are the specs.

Its hard to get a 10,000 RPM

The mother board I have chosen doesnt support the Seagate Cheetah and I'd need a controller card. All in all its a bit expensive as well.

I have chosen an alternative of 3 1 terabyte 7200rpm 32m cache in Raid array, will that be comparable to ...
