I'm trying to solve the same problem...
In my case, i'm starting to suspect of a Vista incompabillity. I'm running Resolume 3.1.1 under Vista Home Premium 64 bit and my laptop config is:
HP Pavilion DV7-1285
Intel Core 2 duo P8600 @2.4ghz
6Gb Ram
GeForce 9600M GT - 512 mb dedicated memory

Hi guys,
I've instaled Resolume 3.1.1 and like other guys, when it starts show me this message: "Your videocard has unsufficient specs to run this application".
Well, i'm running Resolume under Vista Home Editon 64bits and my notebook has more then necessary specs to run the software.
