Another related problem - I've succesfully used Streamclip to convert one MPEG4 to MOV (with DXV compression), but it refuses to convert all of my other MPEGs - I can view them within Streamclip as MPEGs, but when I attempt to convert to MOV I get an 'Error: can't prepare the movie' message.

I've worked it out now thanks VJair (I ran a separate install of the DXV codec and it's now listed as a compression type when converting to .mov).

DXV is a Quicktime codec, so you can't make an .avi with DXV compression. If you choose .mov as your output format, DXV should pop up as part of the compression types.

You have to actually re-encode the files in order to have the benefit of DXV. Loading them in Resolume and then saving will not ...
