what about wide angle projectors?
would be much less expensive and you should only need i think about 9 projectors ;)
This means a projector which can create 6,5m x 5m from 4m distance. I haven't found such a projector. I found a lens (Panasonic compatible) which can create 6x4 from this distance ...

Hi guys, I'd like to create a 300m2 interactive floor in a museum. The room is 17x18x4m. My question is, how can I connect about 30 projectors (5x6) with edge blending? What would be a good solution? (I have one source)
