Re: How might I route video through another program, then back?
Thanks for the replies guys,
Spout in and out in TD isn't the issue. The problem is how to route that once it's back in Resolume, to be used as the final output. I haven't been able to come up with a way that is completely separate from the composition I'm sending into Touchdesigner in the first ...

How might I route video through another program, then back?
Looking to use some of the Processing and Touchdesigner effects I've made with Resolume.
I have Spout set up, and it's great for sending frames one way.
Resolume will send its output to the other software, but after processing it, I'm not sure how to bring it back into Resolume for final output ...

Re: DXV Quality
Actually, i realized that it was a program called flux that was amplifying the issue by turning my lcd's color temperature slightly yellow/green at night.

DXV Quality
I'm working on converting and cutting up some clips for a show next week, and I'm getting some strange quality issues with DXV encodes.
I've attached a couple examples

Re: OSX vs. Windows performance?
I think this is mostly related to the OS/driver handling of 3D apps.
Apps like photoshop that have limited GPU rendering seem to run perfectly fine in OSX.
Hopefully Apple or the vendors can sort this out.
In the mean time, there's boot camp

Re: Idiron AV: Max4Live patches for Resolume
Thanks for the update.
Everything's working well. Except I had to leave bundles off for Resolume to receive the OSC properly.
Only thing I'd add is the ability to route to the composition effects/dashboard.
Thanks again!

Re: OSX vs. Windows performance?
So I just did all my updates and got new drivers and quicktime installed on my Win 7 partition, and now I can run the same 3 layers of 720/1080 DXV clips at a stable 60 FPS vs the 20-30 I was getting in OSX...
Is this a driver issue? I find the same is generally true of games...

OSX vs. Windows performance?
Has anyone tested Resolume in OSX and Windows on the same machine?
I know games run much smoother in windows through boot camp, so I'm wondering if I could get a few more FPS by running Resolume in Windows instead...
