er and... actually one more question: is it possible to either specify a background colour (instead of black) or to lock a layer so you can't switch to it (because then i would just put a colour in the background and lock it)

any help is really, really, really appreciated!

i'm no vj but do intent to use resolume for a rather specific installation setup and therefore have some quite specific questions... maybe someone could give me a hand? : )

- basically i will be midi-triggering still images only. on trigger they should appear, stay on the screen for 2-3 ...
