Nevermind. I figured it out right after I asked the question. It appears that for me with Sony Vegas, I can only use the DVX codec when rendering to quicktime. Seems to work flawlessly now.

I just started with resolume demo to see if it will do what I am trying to do. I play in a band and would like to have cool video clips playing on a screen during our live gigs.

Is it best to make quicktime or .avi vids? Is there a length limit to the clip? I tried one .avi that looks good ...
