Can it be possible to save a 'clip' of effects? I call them effect stacks I'm sure other peeps do too,

would be ace if we could save a stack of effects as one item we can recall...

Perhaps I've set things up wrong but it seems to me that when you output OSC of a parameter, then apply an envelope to that parameter - that envelope doesn't carry across, so all you get is the linear ramp from 0-1 on the value you are outputting.

would really help with some slice transform effect stuff too, alternatively, (or additionally) having an option in slice transform effect to apply it as an actual blackout mask (NOT the mask option...)

works the way you want it to when applied to a clip or to composition/layer, but I usually put my effects in stacks in clips, haven't found a blending mode that works the same

Possible to make Opacity an effect? So that it can be switched on and off - I often use envelopes on the opacity of different layers in a column to make them alternate.. but often wish I could have instances similar to transform...

I too have set up envelopes in this manner, though I don't have a midi device to correspond, I'm just using a Traktor Kontrol F1 these days.

Well what you're planning on sounds interesting but I'm still hoping for something in the UI of effect parameters

I'm looking to build a step sequencer. I have 2 other projects in the works right now that I feel would be more useful. But a step sequencer is definitely something I'm looking to have out at some point this year. It should allow for integration with resolume relatively easy.

You can have presets, I've saved about 40 so far, mostly pairs of opposite patterns (one's that can't simply be reversed of course)

I just feel like building anything even slightly custom when using only on/off values would be massively improved by switching to a step sequencer UI.
