You have not enabled original file download on those clips so i can only download the Vimeo transcoded versions but I having looked at them I can confirm that this is the type of random skipping that i am getting.

To answer your questions.

Yes I notice the stuttering when i disable the output
No my control monitor is not plugged into the same GPU as the output monitor
I have tested lots of different media in all different codecs and FPS and its happening on with all of them ...

Thanks for your replies, I checked and the Global speed was correct.
Iam a little confused as cosmowe says it an ongoing Resolume problem that they are working on.

I copied what you did and downloaded the mp4 version of that Darkstar clip and converted it to Pro Res 422 and it still doesn't play ...

Ive just read through that 'smooth playback' thread, what concerns me is the posts are dated 2013, we are now in 2015 and it seems still no solution

I have been trying demos of various VJ software over the last week and for me, Resolume comes out on top, I really like the interface and how it all works, I was just about to buy the software when I noticed something that I cannot seem to fix.

I am running it on a new Mac Pro desktop at the moment ...
