Try to disable the auto-light adjust setting in the webcam driver.

I've bought an ADS-Tech Instant TV USB, and it work well with resolume, but just have to select the analogic input before running resolume or you will get the tuner instead of the video in.
But it work fine, and just cost 39.90€ in france ^^

I think that your Laptot as no video imput aviable.
I guess if already one laptop as a video input in the world ?
