Does Arena Knows how to use a cuda core?
Hi all,
I have made some stressing tests with arena and GTX 460m And it seems that Arena uses GPU in a way that the graphics card crashes when using the GPU Core at 60% more than 30 minutes.
It is not the temperature cause it is low than 65ÂșC.
Other programs does not crashes in this same ...

Re: 3 Slow GPUs running 5 Screens
Hi guys,
I have spend the last 5 days doing tests with arena 4.1 and my gpu. Todas i found a good result for low frase rates and crashes due to gpu load.
And the solution is: overclock.
I was running tests with 3decks with 12 layers of dxv videos some of them have Rgb effects in a 1280x720 ...

Re: More flexible osc mapping
Hi all,
it seems that this is avaiable:
/activelayer/clip/name
and it is sent every update of selectec clip.
We need a better documentation of osc messages of Arena!

Storyline mode
Hi,
I research multiple-time story lines and seems that this software is almost there.
It needs just to allow users to drive from one layer to another in auto pilot.
like an option: start next layer (obey its auto-pilot)
Or even better:
add an option like
Start clip in next column (and add ...

More flexible osc mapping
hi,
1) There is no way to access /activeclip/name from osc.
This is very important to build interfaces with lemur.
2) Another important thing is the hability to connect or preview clips with parameter :
the way it is:
/layer1/clip1/preview
The flexible way
/layer1/preview [clip_number]

Re: Osc parameters for touch interfaces
Hi,
thanks for the reply.
So for who wants to do that is still possible using midi. But in both cases (OSC or MIDI) the conversion from 0..1 to -16535 .. 16535 is something that does not help to do it with fingers cause 1% is a lot of pixels to move something in the screen.
So, is there a way to ...
