Multiple webcams on macs

Hi,

Sorry yet another post from me after a long time of silence.

I thought I would be able to run multiple webcams into Resolume on my Macbook Pro just like you can on a PC.

Is this actually possible????

There was a post on this a year ago but it died and had no comment from Bart or Edwin:

Re: Introducing time delays with OSC

Hi - thx for reply.

I am just using 'Processing' that is mentioned in the Resolume manual.

I think I have got a bit further in that there is a WAIT command but I haven't got it to work yet. This may be due to my lack of experience with OSC looks like I have to have a label on the wait command e.g ...

Introducing time delays with OSC

I am planning to use OSC to drive Resolume for an art installation.

My intention is to code a sequence of clips / effect changes that automatically take effect over time.

Can anyone tell me how to code that in OSC? - have played around with the set timetag command with no success - i want to ...

Re: Network Streaming in Avenue

Thanks Rotor for your reply.

I rephrased my question in a separate post and Edwin is suggesting Quartz Composer so I will try that first but thanks for your comment.

Re: Multiple remote webcams into Resolume Avenue

Thanks Edwin.

Will try this out and report back - I know zilch about Quartz Composer and the gig is two weeks away .... slight nerves creeping in.

Multiple remote webcams into Resolume Avenue

This is related to my previous question which I called Network Streaming. The response to that post was that Resolume 3 did not support network streaming so I wanted to state what I am trying to do to see if anyone had any ideas.

I want to capture live images from some performance art activities ...

Network Streaming in Avenue

Firstly apologies if there is an answer to this on the forum - I paged through and searched but couldn't find anything.

Though the high level features info for Avenue states network streaming is an option I can find no info in the manual on how to do this.

My intent is to hook several webcams to a ...

Re: Resolume Avenue 3 Beta Now Available!

The old Freeframe plugins (FF 1.0) won't work but new ones are in the making and those new ones will be even better and faster of course.

Just wondering if you guys (Bart / Edwin) have any concrete idea of when we will start to see Freeframe 1.5 plugins available from the various groups who ...

Re: Thanks Bart n' Edwin n' Everyone Else :)

I wanted to add my thanks for what looks like a brilliant piece of development. Again I haven't had chance to play in detail but the basic architecture - composition, layer, clip is great and opens up such control. The simple fact that you can run just audio in a layer is a real boon. I don't VJ but ...
