My problem is that I have to get video input from a different computer every time!
I'm going to give a try to black magic intensity shuttle together with the Atlona 500.
I'll let you guys know how does it work for my business!
Thanks and take care

Re: How to get a VGA input on resolume?
you could use a scan converter, like an Extron VSC 500, 700, a Sony 1024, or a ScanDoPro series to convert your vga to video and use a video capture card. Or you could use a datapath capture card, I believe they make a model that takes DVI-A as well as D. Hope this helps! :D

Re: Output preview on external monitor
It would have been helpful on a videomapping projet I just had.
Both during the day (no projection because of sun light) and before or during the shows (production office wasn't close to the projection) having the preview on a big external monitor would have helped to check and modify the show run ...

8 core - 16 gb ram
Resolume Arena 4.01
I controll Arena through a chamsys lighting desk trought dmx via Enttec pro.

Re: DMX fixture for more than 3 layers
Resolume and Chamsys have been playing together well for us - and unless there's something I'm not seeing about your setup, the patch in Chamsys should be pretty straightforward.
Once you've patched your Arena 'composition' fixture profile and selected your 'layer' profile, patch Arena layers ...

And one more thing:
If I want to start from universe 2 - artnet 1 of chamsys, which subnet and wich unput port should I put in resolume dmx preferences?
