just a thought

Re: video sources not coming up

- remember that even though you have droped the device onto a clip, you need to click once on that clip to see it in your preview pane.
- the actual camera or source input does not show in the clip thumbnail or the the layer thumbnail - only in the preview pane. the clip and layer ...

Re: MP3 Support.
the reason is because to manipulate the audio (i.e. fx, looping, etc) then the mp3 (compressed) would have to be uncompressed on the fly - thus taking up a lot of processing speed that could be better used for video and other tasks.
- by supplying audio that is *already* uncompressed you leave ...

- now it's been suggested that we should *get creative with OTHER software first*, and then import the result into avenue. how does that translate into avenue being a "LIVE" tool? \

using jpg's (images)
hi there,
in r2.41, I could load a series of images into one clip, and they would show through in sequence, and it was possible to loop, bounce, etc. - creating an instant slideshow
this seems to have been removed in avenue - when a series of images is dropped on a clip, it loads each image into a ...

video sources not coming up
hi guys - congratulations on the release.
one question at the moment - in version 2, my camera was recognized as an input source, but in the beta, no input devices are recognized - just empty placeholders that say "device0" "device1", etc.
- any advice to help getting r3 to recognize my camera ...
