Re: AKAI MPK Mini not recognized by Windows
I see. This definitely needs the port replaced, and it clearly has been already. I see poor solder job and flux leftover.
BTW, its odd but your ports seem a bit different than what are on my devices. The pins are surrounded by plastic on all sides while on mine one side is open.

Re: AKAI MPK Mini not recognized by Windows
That would explain why it gets powered but doesnt function properly.
Although, do you have any device with a mini-USB port you could check? I only have one external HDD and the same pin seems bend, dunno maybe its how it is supposed to be.
If not I could get the port desoldered and a new one ...

Re: AKAI MPK Mini not recognized by Windows
Um, I think someone has broken my controller's USB port when I left it in a venue for 2 days and has attempted to fix it, poorly.
You're right, on one other PC it also fails to be recognized and on another one it flip flops between being found and name properly displayed but not responding in ...

Re: mapping hundreds of polygons?
I guess 20 minutes seems extremely tedious to me because of the features of 3d modellers vs VJ programs like Resolume. It took me less than 20 minutes to prepare the actual 3d model.
I don't mean Resolume should have 3d feature (but I wouldn't mind), I mean things like Extrude, creating a triangle ...

Re: automatic playback of columns?
Is it when the shortest video in the column has reached its end?
Yes. Ideally there would be few options to choose from:
1) move to next column when shortest video has finished playing
2) move to the next column when longest videos has finished playing (shorter ones will either display nothing ...

mapping hundreds of polygons?
I have made a polygonal face model I want to project onto.
I want the tips of the polygons in the video files to be mapped "perfectly" to the tips of the polygons on the actual wood model I've prepared.

Re: automatic playback of columns?
Hm okay. Odd that Reolume does not have an option for that but fine. Is there at least a way to move to the next column when a video in one column has finished playing?

Re: automatic playback of columns?
I want the videos of the same column being played at the same time, never videos from different columns.
As to why have the same videos on each column instead of one slice dublicated and respositioned/offseted 3 times in the output, well because not all videos on each column are the same, some ...
