Re: NVIDIA NVS 810 for new system
Joris, I understand about the gray area and hardware setup. Thank you for the reference to the benchmark test, I'll be sure to check it out. Just in case : if, deducing it from the benchmark test, I came up with a config project, would it still be in the grey zone to tell me if it'd work for my ...

Wow. I've checked out the post about your NYC project...it is extremely impressive. I have to confess I'll have to do a fair amount of research to understand the technical structure, and identify the devices that you use, but "bravo", it is not only spectacular, but beautiful too.

Re: 10x 1024x768 output with 2x Nvidia nvs 810
Ok, it's about stacking the slices in Resolume, then.
And so, if I follow the reasoning, my composition in Resolume would therefore be 3840 x 4320, or 7680 x 2160 , divided in Resolume as 8 slices on two screens/outputs.
But since I need to keep one distinct screen for the UI, I would have to ...

Re: 10x 1024x768 output with 2x Nvidia nvs 810
I've just checked the Lindy 4K DisplayPort 1.2 to 4 x HDMI Video Wall Processor that you mention in the thread.
To make sur I understand well, the idea is that
- there would be a single powerful video card, such as a GTX 980 or GTX 1080 that would handle all the graphic processing, and would output ...

...and I wouldn't consider using another software than Resolume. It think it is just completely awesome, and is a source of unlimited creativity. Really.

Re: NVIDIA NVS 810 for new system
And a last precision I forgot, in the 8-output case, is that I would not span one image on all the screens, but send 7 1080p feeds, one per screen.

Joris, thank you so much for your reply and advice.

Re: NVIDIA NVS 810 for new system
For instance, would 2 GTx 980 or 1080 work fine together, or would it be the same problem?

Re: NVIDIA NVS 810 for new system
Thank you very much Joris for these precisions.
I would like to ask you two questions :
1. If I understand well what you are saying, it's actually stable, but a pain in the neck each time you start your computer and Resolume. So a terrible hassle, but still stable, and packing enough punch to have ...
