i had the same issue ... DXV was simply not showing up under Quicktime in Adobe Media Encoder...
i just downloaded the new Quicktime, and installed it.... i also changed the permissions to allow apps full control on the QuickTime directories under c:/program files.. blah blah.... just in case ...
