Yea sorry, I was reading that as the 1080 no the 1080ti. For $300-$400 less the ti is a great card for sure, and in a lot of ways better than the Titan. I think I just love the look of the Titan

The price increase related to the performance increase if a fairly good deal IMO, for the Titan X anyway. I would love to get a Z but 3K is a lot for one graphics card.

Personally I think that the upgrade from a 1070 to a 1080 is a bit of a waste of money. Yes it does perform a bit better (about 15%-25% better across the board according to user bench mark score but I would suggest just skipping the 1080 and going straight to the Titan X.
