Re: 16bit DMX fixtures and pixel drawing
This way you could also have presets made in your effect clips, and use them on demand.
If you want to pull specific channels of the fixture, maybe you can do that in a lighting console.
Thanks, I've been using this on my last TV show. I also found I can do similar with Video Router; pair a ...

Re: Avoid screen tearing, nvidia quadro or rtx 2080?
The way I've done it is with a single DP output to an ImagePro or Novastar at the highest res it will take. The IP or Nova then is what sends to the screens and syncs. If you need multiple of those then you need quadro cards with quardro sync cards.

What did you end up doing? Does turning on VSync not fix your issue?

I'd also check their USB ports are actually 3.0, as it's an older machine.

Re: Any feedback for using Arena 7 with Asus Rog Zephyrus Duo / Asus Zenbook Pro Duo?
I have not used the dual screen setup yet. I have an older Asus Zenbook 4k touchscreen I've used for years and it has been great for Resolume. Touch is great on the fly. The engadget video review makes the smaller screen appear usable in a panels on top view.

Thanks for the response, I didn't see it until now.
As far as controlling from a console that is indeed something we do. In this case I don't think the console could do it directly as it would be ...

Re: 16bit DMX fixtures and pixel drawing
Resolume outputs the pixel data based on the video played, so changing the video opacity, or the colors with effects would probably do this in software.
I do currently do that for on the fly adjustments as a whole. The purpose behind having a lumiverse or fixture assignment of this would be to ...

Hi,
Wondering if there's been any progress on 16bit pixels or quicker ways to implement abstract designs. In the last year since posting this I'd say almost every light I use now is 16bit capable.

Save DMX mapping
Maybe it's obvious and I've missed it, but how do I save my DMX mapping? It doesn't seem to save into the composition, so I can't move it to another machine. I also had an issue where I had to restore a backup and reinstall Resolume but then had to rebuild the mapping after my comp was loaded. I'd ...
