So the problem being unable to output to a windows audio device...

In the windows sound settings per audio device uncheck both
"Give exclusive mode applications priority"
"Enable audio enhancements"

Problem Solved.


Will look into Dante buffersize / latency and post results.

I've been doing some further trials.

The machine that is lagging... I am able to select windows audio devices as outputs - however no sound will play.
When I play through direct sound (it works) I have to change the Sample rate to 48k and buffer to 512 and it will play in sync ...

String 0 plays backwards.
Both strings 1 & 2 play forwards.

Pause doesn't seem to be alive.
Anyone else having the same problem?

I've been having the same problem.
I have two machines both on 7.7
I have audio lag on one machine and not the other.
Video plays fine in VLC on the machine with the lag.

Been through all the settings, nothing is different.

Only thing that differs is machine with the lag doesn't not playback when ...
